You probably already know The Snakeoil Rattlers from previous outings. Barry Warren and his band have been familiar faces around the kitchen and beyond for many years, but now they have finally finished their debut album and will be flogging copies of it on CD at the gig, so bring some extra cash with you!

The Snakes don't have a new album to sell, but they will be attempting to sell whatever they can (CDs, house hold appliances, vital organs, etc). The line up will be Simon Moor, Richard Davies, Dan Tilbury, Johnny O & long time Snakes producer Nick Beere, (hereafter referred to as the 'classic' lineup).

Danny Jones is a great friend of ours and a regular member of the audience down at What's Cookin', however, this will be his debut performance at this venue! Danny will be playing some folk & traditional songs as well as his own material.

HOT SNAKE TIME MACHINE

"Yesterday's songs at today's prices for tomorrow's people" - former members of cult band The Snakes play obscure and lost psych and pop nuggets as well as a smattering of Snakes classics.

ART THEEFE

A Betsey debut for Oxford 3-piece described as "A dash of Kinks kitchen sink drama and wry, quintessentially English humour, a touch of classic singer songwriter such as Dylan and Mike Scott, a smooth Steely Dan vibe and even some Van Morrison Celtic rock mystique and you have a fantastic slice of power-pop, slightly Paisley psych and bluesy-rock all rolled into one" - A&R Factory

SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS

Anglo-Italian Krautrock-courting collective, bound by Lou Reed's velvet spit and the raucous swell of 90s indie fuzz guitar. With lyrics that bite and bait as motorik minimalism mutates into swaggering psych-jams.
